Today's Breakout EDU was based on Roald Dahl's book, BFG.  Most of the students had read the book and/or seen the movie so they were excited about it. 
Below is a photo of students using a UV flashlight to read clues written in invisible ink. 








Students worked with ipads and a QR code to listen to Roald Dahl read an excerpt from his BFG book.  Within the passage was a clue to opening one of the combination locks.

These students are reading a letter "written" by one of the characters from the book.  The letter contains clues  that the students decoded using the book BFG.

The group successfully broke into the locked box and earned a reward of bookmarks and Tootsie Rolls.
